Compact 2026-2027
As a parent/caring adult, I will:
- Maintain high expectations for my child
- Show respect and support for my child, teachers, and the school
- Monitor assignments, encourage completion, and read/talk with my child daily
- Ensure my child attends school regularly, on time, well-rested, and prepared
- Communicate changes that may affect attendance, achievement, attitude, or behavior
- Support the school’s expectations for behavior and discipline
- Listen with an open mind and consider all perspectives
- Help my child resolve conflicts in positive ways
- Participate in school events (Title I meetings, Family Reading Nights, PTA, Open House, etc.)
- Review and discuss progress with my child and their teacher(s)
As a Student, I will:
- Come to school regularly, on time, and prepared
- Follow school rules and resolve conflicts in positive ways
- Complete and return assignments on time
- Show respect for myself, others, and my school
- Listen, participate, and do my best
- Get enough sleep each night
As a teacher, I will:
- Communicate what students are learning and expectations for success
- Keep families informed about achievement and behavior
- Support students in learning to resolve conflicts positively
- Model and teach honesty, kindness, and empathy
- Provide instruction appropriate to each student’s needs
- Treat students with dignity and respect
- Respect and partner with families in the best interest of each child
