Kelley Parent Involvement Plan

Kelley Elementary School is committed to providing a high-quality education for every child while building strong partnerships with families. Shared responsibility for student success, consistent communication, and meaningful parent involvement are essential to supporting high levels of academic achievement.

Kelley Elementary is required to hold an annual parent meeting to inform families of our participation as a Title I school and to explain parents’ rights to be involved in their child’s education. All parents are invited to attend this informational meeting, which is held each fall. During this meeting, we will review Title I policies, program goals, curriculum, Oklahoma Academic Standards, and the assessments used to monitor student progress.

Additional parent involvement opportunities will be offered throughout the year to support family needs and strengthen the home-school connection. Meetings and events will be scheduled at varied times and days to encourage maximum participation.

A School-Parent-Teacher-Student Compact will be used to emphasize the importance of working together as partners in the educational process. The goal of Kelley Elementary’s Title I program is to support students in reaching their full academic potential.

Ongoing communication between parents and teachers will be maintained throughout the school year. Parents will receive quarterly progress reports and information about individual student assessments. Through planned activities, families will have opportunities to communicate with teachers, volunteer, observe, and participate in classroom experiences.

Parents and staff will work together to plan, review, and improve the Title I program. Needs assessments and program evaluation surveys will be conducted each spring and used to guide revisions for the following school year.
