2027 National Merit Scholars

Six MPS students were named 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program semifinalists. 
 
Senior Jiaqi Chen represents Moore High School. Senior Chihieu Nguyen was selected from Westmoore High School. Southmoore High School's selections include seniors Kaiden Howle, Sudhiksha Sasikumar, Landon Vo and Isaac Whitley.
 
Less than 1% of high school seniors in the United States qualify to be merit scholar semifinalists, and only the strongest applicants are chosen as finalists in the application process.
